Good old pub right on the edge of Dartmoor. It has space for camping out the back and is on a bus route which is great for the start of end of a trip before you get to an area where you can wild camp (walkable to Lustleigh Cleave for those heading that way...)
The real ales where great and well kept. Good cider on tap. And gluten free food options if that's what you need.
The manager was lovely and let me borrow some WiFi the next morning (no mobile signal and a last minute emergency) and directed us up the hill to walk, rather than the main road.
