Tekila Mexican Grill & Cantina

Walked in at 6:30 with 8 and the restaurant was dead (2-5 tables other than ours). Proceeded to order the first round of drinks. 2/8 came out quickly and the rest came in groups of 2 over 30 minutes after the first round. Let's get to the appetizers. They handled chips and salsa and guac very well... 5 minutes after the first round of drinks. Who knew it would take so long to pour each dip. Wrapping up with dinner, once again 3 meals first. Carnitas tacos, chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and Texas enchiladas. Chicken enchiladas smelled and tasted like Swanson chicken stock. Texas enchiladas looked liked they melted Kraft singles on enchiladas filled with who knows what. Sorry folks, I tried the cheese sauce of the Texas enchiladas and wanted to scrape my tongue. I wasn't trying the tacos... Last but not least, everything is labeled gluten free which is very much necessary for an allergy in our group but low and behold, every tortilla is flour. No warning. We didn't bother to stay for the other food. One of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant and I wish this on no one else. The waiter appeared to be working with what he had from the kitchen but the manager had no sympathy nor understanding. Even for an allergy!!! Please try any of the others on main Street. This should be at the bottom of your list. Good luck.

Had a great time celebrating my best friend's 25th birthday. Plenty of gluten free options that tasted delicious. The atmosphere was electric as the workers and my friends all danced to tequila. So much fun with great food! TEKILA.
