Tempest offers delicious coffee brewed by highly skilled baristas, a rotating menu rich with locally sourced ingredients, and a relaxed modern environment where everyone is welcome to express themselves.
Espresso, when prepared the right way, can transform any boring workday into a fantastically productive workday- every visit to Tempest has helped to produce some of my very best work. If you’ve never had a coffee that makes you do a little happy dance in your seat, I highly suggest you stop at Tempest to find out how happy dance-worthy coffee tastes.
The menu rotates seasonally, allowing for the freshest and best tasting local produce to shine. There are options for nearly all dietary restrictions. Gluten free, Vegan, as well as selective GFV. All in-house bakery is vegan. They use a high quality sourdough that some gluten-sensitive folks, like myself, are able to enjoy.
There’s ample parking nearby, As a regular, I highly suggest, parking in the first lot on the left or right rather than hoping for a spot down the hill and having to do a five-point turn-around.
The interior is modern and clean, with local art featured year-round. It can get a bit loud at peak hours but, off hours are wonderful for reading or simply enjoying the beautiful view of the river. Outdoor seating is available when weather permits.
Whether eating inside or outside, please note, there are two dish return bins on either end of the bar.
No matter the time of day or time of week, you can expect to have an amazing experience at Tempest.
