Tequilas Casa Mexicana

Apparently they just reopened 2 weeks ago and man am I glad I got to experience the new place! Absolutely loved it. I have an extreme sensitivity to gluten and the server could not have been kinder about informing me what was safe to eat. Incredibly attentive employees, very friendly, and the building itself is just beautiful (pale green crown molding etc that just felt like I walked through a time portal) It's $$$ but you can tell there is passion behind the food, which was delicious, and the drinks were beautifully presented and also complimented the meal perfectly, so in my opinion it was well worth the cost, everything about the place feels so upscale. Welcome back, Tequilas!

Everything I have ever tried here has been delicious and well prepared. A Philly favorite and my favorite Mexican restaurant. Last time I had the ceviche and the Pescado al Mango, which was cooked to perfection, and absolutely divine, bursting with flavor. They were able to modify it to make it gluten free and the dish was still perfect. They also have a stand out tequila selection which will be pleasing to the most discerning connoisseur. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, or it may be difficult to get in without waiting.
