Teta's Authentic Lebanese

Incredibly loud table nearby (acoustics of the room not helpful), waiter was not very helpful, was seated with sun in my eyes (another table had the same issue) and only after half an hour a blind was pulled down. Booked for both gluten free yet waiter bought us bread, and then after being told, he said he’d bring cold vegetables - which, as unappealing as it sounds, didn’t materialise anyway. Rice and chips are usually reliably gluten free, and in fact the online menu shows rice to be gluten free - it was not gluten free! Waiter asked me to prove it!! - so I showed him! The chorizo style dish was really unpleasant mincemeat and not what the description suggested. All in all, worst dining experience of the year.

We are regular diners at Tetas and we always thoroughly enjoy our meals there. Last night we dined as a party of 6 and once again Tetas impressed us. We ordered the butchers board which is a selection of chicken, lamb and beef shish kebabs, so juicy the meat melts in your mouth. We also ordered their yummy baked cauliflower, Fattoush salad, and I can never go past their felafel because it's so light and fluffy. We also indulged in their desserts which are insanely delicious and their new cheesecake is even gluten free!
