My partner is completely celiac (also extremely sensitive to wheat!) and after a long day of driving we stopped in Thai Pepper. We looked at there menu and most of the options are "gluten free". We dedecided to get there fish diner (after turning down the calamari because it's fried in the same fryer as wheat), an appetizer and 2 thai iced teas. Everything we ordered was "gluten free" according to there menu and we went our of our way to ask and make sure. _Our appetizer arrived relatively quickly and was subpar and extremely salty_. Our waiter asked how it was and we told him our response ^ he said sorry then walked away later on he offered me a thai tea which I accepted. Our food finally arrives and my partner takes a bite and he begins to feel immediately ill, do to fear we ask the waiter to check with the kitchen to see if it for sure it was gluten free. But all he did was looked at the menu. He walks backs and tells us that it is gluten free but is fried in the same fryer as wheat--which it is not gluten free-- after telling him that my partner is I'll due to there complete incompetence he then walks back with a check saying that he took that off our check. When we looked at it we noticed that he charged us $30.45 for one appetizer and for three Thai iced tea drinks which he said that he would have gave me. We told him that we were so frustrated with his service he didn't even bother to bring over his manager. I am completely unsatisfied with this restaurant they are lying to people who actually have celiac disease and poisoning them!
