Thai Station Restaurant

Just go! The food is so good. I love how the flavors surprise you—like lime and coconut milk in the soup, or a root veggie you don’t usually see outside Thai dishes. Portions are big (I got two dinners out of mine!), everything tastes fresh and crisp, and the prices are super reasonable. Plus, tons of choices if you’re vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free.

I've walked past Thai Station dozens of time but tried it for the first time last week and absolutely loved it. It's such a beautiful and unique spot between the patio and being in a railroad car, but that's the least of what makes it so great. The food was incredible- I'm vegetarian and can't eat gluten and there were plenty of options for me to try, I got drunken noodles and may or may not be going back tonight for another order, they were delicious! The thing I loved most though was the service. I was seated in an area where I didn't realize the restaurant was closing but the staff was still so kind and patient despite being out there until the very last minute. I'm on crutches at the moment and the helped me get to the most convenient bathroom for being clunky and held the door open so I could get in which is a big deal, I've been on these suckers for almost two months and getting through a door is still a challenge. Then to top it off, it was pouring rain when I was leaving and they waited with me with an umbrella while my friend grabbed the car and offered to hold my arm as I walked down the ramp in the rain so I wouldn't fall. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness and care, I will be going back many more times in the future! 10/10 would recommend, thank you to everyone who helped me get around while I was there!
