We had a takeaway, so collected the order. I turned up 10 minutes early and it was already ready, which concerned me slightly. Anyway, the restaurant looked lovely and the staff were pleasant. Cater foe Gluten free, which was a bonus.
Our order (including 10% discount) came to £80.00. I was expecting a fairly decent spread of food, but it felt light in weight whe. Walking away. I Opened everything up and first impressions were confirmed after eating it.
Worst Tom Yam soup i've ever eaten, no spice, a watery mess that had some cheap mushrooms, 3 prawns floating in it and nothing else. The Satay gai was ok, but came with a drip of sauce that barely covered two of the skewers. The massaman was ok, but watery and not the best ive eaten. The duck dish was cold and not remotely crispy, but came with a huge pot of sauce, which was way too much.
No decoration with thai vegetables or the finish you expect from a higher level cuisine, as aposed to chinese.
I felt the order had been made too far in advance and left to get cold, was rushed and ultimately was a very average meal. Dissapointed.
