The Black Olive- Elizabethton

I attended a celebration here. We we in the large room on the right. The room was full of people. The service was excellent, especially considering it was a large party. There were chessy bread knots on the table, which were delicious. I had eggplant parmesean, and it was served with spaghetti. The food was excellent! The marinara was the best! The portions are large, and I was given a box to take home my leftovers. Some others around me had gluten free spaghetti, eggplant parmesean, and the 5 meat pasta. Everyone loved their meal. It was a wonderful evening full of celebration and fantastic food.

In town from up north.... found this place and it's the best we've had since we've been here. Minestrone soup was spot on. I had a steak calzone that was better than we have at home, probably better than I've ever had. I had Greek salad as well and it was fresh and very good.... service was excellent, our server was Autumn and she was patient with us, friendly, and attentive. Three in the party, all very happy with the experience, lasagna, gluten free, etc. Good stuff!!
