Absolutly disgusting experience! I went for a bike ride and decided to stop for lunch. As I was cycyling, I wasn't dressed elegantly, waterproof sporty jacket, jeans and old sneakers. Before taking a seat I have asked for gluten free options and a soup of the day. I took a seat and waited for someone to take my order. But lady who arrived didn't ask me what I would to like have for my lunch. She looked at me and said "let me guess, soup with gluten free bread". I was absolutly shocked. What she was saying I would translate to: from how you look like I know that you will order just a soup. I denaided and I have ordered coronation chicken open sandwich with the bowl of soup. Food was as bad as the service. Soup - green split pea - was actually brown, canned pea soup is more green than what I got! who knows how old it was. Sandwich was made with the most disgusting and the cheapest gluten free bread from supermarket, something what I would never buy. Coronation chicken was dry and just avarage. Salad mixed of green leaves with pieces of cucamber and 3 small pieces of dried tomatoes but ... served without any dressing or olive oil. I wasn't offer any salad dressing and there was nothing on a table. Just dry green leaves - is that a joke? I left the soup and a quite a lot on a plate and I went to pay. At the till the same lady who took my order now took my payment without asking if I have enjoyed my meal or if everything was okey. How often does it happend that staff "forget to ask"? obviously she did it intentionally. I only wonder if that was just because I wasn't dressed elegantly enough for her to care about my feedback or she just knew that I left quickly leaving most of the food so she knew I didn't enjoy it and didn't want to hear negative feed back. I do not know what was worse, food or service. I will definitely not go back there and I will advise everyone against this place!
