The Boathouse and Terrace, Redcar

We were staying in Redcar for the night and found this little gem after looking for somewhere local for breakfast that had gluten free options. The waitress couldn't have been more helpful in going through options that were suitable for my husband (he opted for the mini full English and was able to switch out the gluten containing sausage for an extra slice of bacon), my daughter and I shared a scrambled egg on toast and the Greek yogurt bowl (pictured!) All the food was fantastic! Thanks for a very lovely way to start our day!

We had a nice lunch here. Two families both with dietary requirements. Gluten free food was nice and great to see a couple of options. My food allergy taken into account. Food was OK, beer was nice, reasonably priced and comfortable. Food range was great. Will be coming back to try a breakfast. There were too many dogs in. One dog yapping at everything, one growling. Dog friendly is one thing but too many in spoils the atmosphere. Staff were stroking a puppy.
