We booked an outside table for lunch on a cool day in East Lothian. We sat under a very big umbrella with IR heating and helped ourselves to blankets. It was cosy throughout.
Food was very good and service was attentive but not rushed. My wife is gluten intolerant and options were few, but she was very pleased with her order.
Wines by the glass are expensive but the list is well researched and there is proper regard for serving temperature.
The pub is very dog friendly (seems to be an East Lothian thing) with a supply of dog towels if your dog is just back from the beach and needs a rub. (Gullane Beach also highly recommended.)
I would recommend and we will be back.
