Don’t go here if you have a gluten allergy, they were disgustingly insensitive to this. I worked for a very successful family owned restaurant for 13 years and couldn’t imagine being so insensitive to a paying customer over an allergy. I always believe in only supporting locally/family owned businesses, not chain restaurants. But I will never be a customer here again. I’ve lived in the area for 5 years and have ordered from the brick house since the first week living in the area! We’ve ordered takeout, dined in, always brought friends and family there! We’ve spent thousands there. We were having friends over and like I said, brick house WAS one of our go to places so we decided to place a pick up order! On the phone I explained that the burger was for somebody with a gluten allergy and asked if we could get broccoli instead of fries with the burger with no bun. I was told no, which is totally fine! I get it! But then the girl said we could get onion rings or coleslaw instead. So I just said onion rings(for somebody else to eat since it apparently came with it) and then asked to pay extra for the side of broccoli(for the friend with the gluten allergy who was eating the burger) which was totally fine. But I asked that the onion rings please be in a separate container because the person eating the burger had an allergy and the onion rings couldn’t touch the burger…………. Of course I got home and gave the food to my friend and she opened it the box and the onion rings were in it. She was just going to throw the food away and not eat it. But that’s ridiculous, I paid $85 for the food and explained the situation to them on the phone so the least they could do is fix THEIR MISTAKE. So I called and asked them to fix this and the man on the phone was a complete a***hole to me. He was more worried about the fact that I got onion rings instead of fries (after his employee offered them?!?!)!!!! I just wanted broccoli as a side and was more than willing to pay for it which I did. Again I worked in this kind of environment, and I was a manager for the last 5 years and I got imagine treating somebody like this over a gluten allergy. I would have been beyond apologetic. With all that being said, I will NEVER be back.

My last and final straw with this restaurant. After years of delivery and dining in… it comes down to a grilled chicken salad. I have tolerated many delivery orders missing items I paid for, under cooked food… but to be met with such rudeness over pointing out a need for grilled chicken for a celiac child, the manager puts a delivery driver on the phone after he wanted to argue. I said just tell me what I need to do so my daughter can have a salad she is able to eat. I wouldn’t spend another red cent in this restaurant, after the way I was treated. I was willing to pay for another salad but never had the opportunity as my daughter was in tears after listening and said I don’t want anything else from that place ever. Hats off to the management for embarrassing a child to tears over a salad. If you don’t want to accommodate for gluten free please make that advertisement so those with celiac can dine elsewhere!!
