The Bro'Kin Yolk

Probably the best breakfast place in all of Canmore. The outside doesn't look like much as it is part of the shops, in what probably used to be a commercial building. After you make it through the corporate-feeling doors, hallway, and up the elevator and to the left, you'll be greeted by one of the best modern breakfast atmospheres. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food was amazingly delish, and it's really hard to choose what you want to get if you are a foodie and want to try everything. We ended up with the Hangry Bowl, a very delightfully-peppery butternut squash soup (seasonal), a truffle and goat cheese benedict, and French toast for the wee one. Everyone was so good. And there are plenty of gluten-free options as well! Definitely not a question to stop in... but I recommend calling ahead with reservations, as they are always busy and we were turned away when we came back for seconds the next day.

It was our first time visiting and my wife is Celiac so going out for breakfast is usually very scary. The waitress did an amazing job making sure my wife did not order anything that could be contaminated and guaranteed that her food would all be pan fried. The food was absolutely amazing, eggs were cooked perfectly and there is no way anyone is leaving hungry. We are very much looking forward to trying the one in Calgary soon. The open concept with all of the windows and exposed beams really made the space feel cozy and warm. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful view, friendly staff and the food was delicious! We had the peach cobbler French toast and a farmers breakfast. Very satisfying and will be returning! I also noticed a lot of Gluten Free options as a family member is celiac I’m always on the look out.
