Had a birthday lunch here on a blustery autumn day, it was warm, cozy, intimate and calm in the Bull and Castle. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, making sure we had some delicious gluten free and dairy free options. We all opted for the pan fried sea bass and it was beautifully presented with a rich tomato based sauce, the sweet pickled tomatoes were a really interesting and unusual flavor, we really enjoyed them. The vegetable sides were really delicious, we had the tender stem broccoli and the chilli and lime dressing was amazing (to quote a dining companion not usually partial to veg; "it's the nicest broccoli I've ever tasted"). The spinach and bacon tasted like more! Baked potatoes were large and filling. Overall a really nice meal. The price point is relatively high, but so is the quality and service. I have never had a bad meal here, ideal for a special occasion or a date.
