The Canadian Brewhouse (Barrie)

Food was great. I got the tuna poke bowl and my boyfriend got the hickory BBQ burger. My boyfriend is gluten intolerant so he got the gluten free bun, which is $1.99 extra. My meal was great, exactly what I was expecting and delicious. My boyfriend’s meal in the other hand, was missing almost half the toppings that were supposed to be on his burger. It was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, hickory sticks, and jalapeño peppers. It had no hickory sticks OR jalapeño peppers which was very disappointing…. Like it’s in the name how did they miss that?? And when we got our bill, there was no gluten free bun added which might have just been a mistake and she just forgot to charge us but in my back of my mind…. Was the burger bun even gluten free??? Overall our experience was pretty decent. I would come back again but possibly be more thorough with checking everything is gluten free for my boyfriend? (Which i dont think should even be necessary as we ASKED for gluten free)

Kayla our server and was incredible. I ordered a gluten free hamburger (udis bun) and gluten free wings (dedicated fryer) and the buffalo sauce was fantastic. My girlfriend ordered an impossible burger (dedicated section of flat top). Kayla put our order in a different way to not waste money. Kayla had far too many tables due to a snow storm and managed it better than most would. If I could rate her individually from the rest of the service she should have certainly been 5 stars

Very loud, so much so it was hard to have a conversation. They are gluten friendly, not free, FYI peeps in case you are celiac. Good svc, good food. Parking ample. Non ♻️ to-go containers, in case you wanted to know.
