The Canadian Brewhouse (Prince Albert)

Generally a good experience, so long as you're into hockey and feeling like you're still living in 2009. The food is ALWAYS delicious, but I advise maybe ordering their current bacon mushroom burger special NOT sitting in gooey nacho cheese sauce lol. It was good, but EXTREMELY messy. Before long I was wiping cheese ONTO my hands with the napkins I had used to wipe them off 😄 My line about living in 2009 was just based on the music playing that night. I used to dj in 2009/2010 and all the songs I heard there were basically from my playlist at the time: Black Eyed Peas, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, etc. My favorite thing about The Brewhouse though, are their gluten free options! I can go there and order any burger with a DELICIOUS gluten free bun. They offer all sizes of pizza on gf crust, and imo it's currently the best gf pizza in town. The service is generally top-notch as well, and we often see the manager Matt bussing food along with the servers and visiting tables himself to ask how things are going. He came to our table on our first visit and was legitimately concerned I didn't have a glass in front of me yet while my partner did (the server was getting me a Pepsi and water at the time so it was all good). I was only a bit concerned on my last visit, as most of the female staff seemed a bit cranky. Like, they were really nice at the table but the smile fell right off their faces before they even turned away, and I caught a lot of eye-rolls which may have been unconscious. Meanwhile the male staff were all quite happy and smiling all around. Not blaming anyone for it, though...not sure if that had to do with the staffing situation at the time, or the clientele that evening, but I hope whatever it was eventually worked out for everyone.

We had supper there tonight. Our server Kiley was a pure pleasure. She was fast kind and attentive. A second server Amber was so helpful bringing our food and all the extras I kept needing. We enjoyed our evening out and will definitely be back soon. I an gluten free and I greatly appreciate the wide variety of options I have.
