My youngest found this place a week ago , and told me I had to come because they had gluten free cannolis .
Upon walking in, my friend and I were greeted with a smile . It has a few tables and bar seats with a lovely view of the park across the road .
I looked at the gluten free options , and asked if I could get a limoncello one , and happily they said yes . So I ordered that with an almond latte.
The cannoli was freshly piped , and they order the gf cannolis from a celiac certified kitchen , so that was a lovely surprise. The gf cannoli had a great crunch , the filling tasted of limoncello but the flavour was not overpowering
The coffee was from Charlie Black Coffee Co - it was quite dark with fruity notes and the milk was steamed well - a perfect accompaniment to Italian pastries .
They also have some lunch options if people get hungry , or if you want something savoury before you eat sweets .
The person behind the counter was very happy to chat , and said that the cafe was opened at the end of 2020, during the pandemic. He was also able to point out a few more gf options in the glass cabinet in case I wanted something other than cannolis.
I also ordered a few of the other cannolis for my kids to take away - my youngest was extremely satisfied with their Oreo one .
So all in all , a great place with friendly vibes worth visiting .
