A proper English pub with bags of character! I had the gluten-free hand-battered fish and chips, and they were absolutely spot on—crispy, tasty, and clearly freshly made. The landlady was exceptionally kind and helpful, really made us feel welcome. She even filled up our water bottles, which was a thoughtful extra touch. Great food, great service—highly recommend!
