Back in July, my wife surprised me with a sushi cooking class here. It was awesome. I'm gluten free by necessity and they set up an independent cooking station for me. They went over and beyond to accommodate me. I got to have a fried sushi roll with gluten free panko crumbs for the first time ever.
The best part of the night was at the end when we had left over ingredients, and we were the last people there. They let me get creative and helped me make a "dessert sushi roll" with mangoes and cream cheese on the inside. Then we fried it, and they got some caramel from the back to drizzle on it. Everyone had some and even the chefs enjoyed it. It was a very memorable night! I hope to back again soon!
