When everyone else makes you book in advance, The Cow let us wait for a table while enjoying a nice glass of vino. My coeliac husband has been talking about his GF pizza ever since we left that night. Staff are pretty cool too. We tried to go back the next night but unfortunately it was the night they're closed - so it looks like we have to go back to Wanaka!

This was a great find and worth seeking out. They do a limited number of things well. The gluten free pizza base was excellent and both pizzas were generously topped. The staff were really friendly and engaging and the whole place had a lovely vibe even for an early dinner at 5pm. I would definitely go back.
