The Dock Café

This restaurant when asked could cater for my daughter and I who are coeliac. When we got the menus gluten free options were shown with a star. There were few stars, when asking the manager he said just the menu ask me ignore the stars ?? I asked for the starred sweet potato fries with a salad, no can’t have them! To say they cater for gluten free diners is misleading and disappointing. We deserve better give us a menu with clear options.

We visited on a sunday. Lovely setting, very knowledgeable and attentive staff, I am celiac so if they weren't sure they went and asked, a good gf menu lots of choice, I had the paté to start followed by the roast it was delicious the reason it has 4stars for food was the lack of a green vegetable on my plate the only veg I had was carrot and parsnip, if the other veg contained glutten maybe some peas could have been added, apart from that it was a lovely lunch and I would go back.
