Very lovely Sunday lunch. Catered brilliantly for the coeliac husband. Crispy gurnard with curry mayonnaise to start and share. Then perfectly panfried buttery, lemony Dover Sole with buttered new potatoes and leeks for me. The husband had fennel and fish stock risotto with a panfried cod fillet on the top, which he declined to share! As there was no gluten free desert option, the waitress offered us a special chocolate delice with fruit and ice cream. We shared it and it was fab. I highly recommend the Duck at Stanhoe. It was excellent and we will certainly be back. Also they didn't bat an eyelid at our very barky dachshund.

Booked for Sunday Lunch. Very popular so recommend booking. Fantastic welcome with extremely friendly and efficient service. Food was fantastic and they have Gluten free options. There is wheelchair access with toilet. They were so accommodating with the varied dietary requirements. Lovely setting and very nicely decorated. Highly recommend.
