The Edison - Restaurant Tallahassee

I had the power melt bagel on Asiago and it was probably one of the best open faced bagels I’ve ever had. They have baked goods too… cookies, croissants with homemade filling, gluten free options, everything looked amazing and I’ll probably be back tomorrow to try something from the bakery.

I went to the Edison for a birthday dinner with some friends and was really looking forward to the variety of foods I could have with having a gluten and severe peanut allergy. I decided to play it safe and got a Caesar salad with no croutons and added shrimp. The server flagged my order with my allergies and I was hopeful until they brought out my food and mine was covered in croutons. I informed them about the situation and they were nice about it and re-made the salad, however, immediately after eating it I got super sick and still suffering from it. I am mostly disappointed that I spent $30 on a salad with Caesar dressing, lettuce, and 5 pieces of shrimp, and that I still somehow got sick after everything. The atmosphere was nice, so I could recommend this place as a good place for some good drinks, but if you are someone with any kind of allergy I would completely steer clear of this place.
