What a.nice surprise! We have lived near by this place for over a year but only just now discovered it. There was a 30/45 minute wait when we arrived without a reservation, but there were seats at the bar, so we took that option.
Lindsey (bartender) was very helpful in helping us order. While we waited (not long) for our food, I enjoyed the Lavender Lemonades mocktail, which was super yummy! I ordered their Baby Kale salad, with the blueberries on the side (because I could not imagine eating blueberries and onions in the same bite?!) and I substituted blue cheese dressing for the vinaigrette in the original recipe. It was soooooo good!
My husband got the special. He said the tuna was excellent as was the butternut squash purée and the ponzu sauce, but the green beans were undercooked.
For dessert I had the gluten free peanut butter pie (I think this was ordered from Mike’s pies, and I have had the same pie in another restaurant, so nothing new.) It was ok, but not amazing. Hubby got the key lime pie, which he said was good enough, but did not compare to the rest of the meal.
The restaurant is in a very cool, collection of older buildings of warehouses and such. Kitchen in full view. It was fun to watch the different meals coming out of the kitchen. Their pizzas looks delicious! (They have a gluten free crust option for an extra $2. ) Fun and funky feel to the whole area. Huge bar, with a massive collection of liquor, and a cool ladder that sliders both ways, but we are not drinkers. It was a bit loud, and a tad pricey for what we got.
Overall, we were very pleased and will go back!
