Always delicious and fresh. The gluten free bread is high quality, and there are lovely touches to the dishes like the spiced caramlised nuts on the smashed avocado. The healthy bowl is also very nice, made with baby Tuscan kale and roast pumpkin. Great coffee selection too, including cold brew. Attentive and uber friendly staff!

Despite the fact that I live in QLD, the staff at the General make me feel like a local. I head in every time I'm in Sydney because the food is amazing, fresh and beautiful, and the environment is so welcoming. The menu caters for all sorts of specific dietary requirements, and there are lots of options for vegans, vegos, celiacs and any combination. I attended a private function on the weekend and every aspect was phenomenal. I can't wait to come back.
