Family day out with a roast dinner.
We chose this place because of the food reviews and huge indoor children's play area.
This is a great place if the weather is awful and the kids want to play.
The ply area is huge and the staff very helpful.
We all ordered a roast dinner and there were clean plates all round.
I ordered a gluten free vegetarian roast, they were very accommodating as the menu doesn't say they do gluten free or vegetarian, but they made it work no problem. They don't do gf Yorkshire puds. But they were happy for me to bring my own and heat it up.
The only downside is that the food could have been more for what was charged, £17.95 for one long carrot, 2 veggie sausages, one broccoli, 2 dry roasties and gravy. Very well presented but more on the plate please. A bit of mashed potatoes and stuffing for us gluten free dinners would be great, or don't charge the full amount
