The George Hotel - Amesbury, Stonehenge

As a ceoliac (severe) with a dairy intolerance, eating out fills me with anxiety. We booked a couple a nights and Im so glad we did! I hardly eat out because of cross contamination but genuinely feel very confident eating here. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable, I didnt have to remind them constantly which is a weight off my mind. The food was lovely with an extensive choice. The staff were amazing, friendly and extremely understanding. I genuinely can't wait to visit again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting. The rooms are comfortable, quirky and cosy. Such a lovely place for some food, a catch up or some time away to reset. Thank you to all the staff 🫶 you genuinely dont know what it means to feel "normal" and not awkward.

We had a really good night here. The parking available is great, they were very accommodating to our special requests. We requested a second duvet and they brought another big one. That made for quite a lot of duvet in the bed but it was extremely cozy. The bathroom threw me for a bit of a loop. We had a room where you had to go down stairs inside bathroom. It was generally clean and inviting tho. They had glutenfree options for breakfast, something we anticipated would be a bit tricky. Overall I really recommend it.
