The Goblin Market Restaurant & Lounge

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent experience at this restaurant was so concerning that it deserves to be addressed. My sister has a severe gluten allergy, and after reviewing the menu, we realized there were no gluten-free options available. She discreetly brought a small portion of safe food from home so that she could still join us for the meal. Unfortunately, the staff were dismissive and showed no understanding of her medical dietary restriction. What was most upsetting, however, was that we were charged $20 for “outside food” without any prior notice or discussion. This charge was only discovered when the check arrived, which felt deceptive and extremely unprofessional. We completely understand that restaurants have policies regarding outside food, but this situation involved a legitimate medical condition and could have been handled with empathy and clear communication. Instead, we were met with rudeness and an unexpected fee. This experience reflects a serious lack of awareness and customer care, particularly regarding food allergies and inclusivity. I would strongly advise management to review their policies and staff training in this area. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking respectful or accommodating service.

Wonderful food delicious food exquisite A++++ service. Went for lunch and then again for dinner . Crab bisque is to sie for . Onion soup was interesting. Great presentation good flavor . Burgers were cooked to perfection tender flavorful with a caramelized onion on top. Our friends have the pork chop ( amazing) and the warm wilted salad .
