The Grill Pit , Stavern

Great location and friendly wait staff with quick service. We ordered cod and salmon ceviche for starters, which was both fresh and had a fun twist with feta cheese foam. I think the salmon was forgotten here unfortunately. For main course I chose grilled scampi salad. The scampi were beautifully grilled, but with only five scampi for 259,- I think the price was a bit high; the dish qualifies more as a starter. My boyfriend chose Fish and Chips, which was perfectly fine, but didn't feel quite fresh. This may have something to do with the fact that it was gluten-free. It could also have been accompanied by some pea puree for more freshness and variety.

Hi, we hired Grillpit with a food truck and chefs for a 50th anniversary celebration. We had modified "South" a Cajun-inspired grill menu with e.g. pork belly, pulled pork burger, scampi, salads corn puree, etc. The guests and ourselves were delighted with the food. Got a lot of comments from the guests along the way! Very good quality with lovely flavours. Flexible and adapted with gluten-free and vegetarian for those guests who wanted it. Simple and good dialogue up front. Recommended!
