The Hampton Social - Dallas

First time at the Dallas location and will be back again. Service was great, especially for a busy Saturday night. There was a food allergy at my table (gluten) and the server was very knowledgeable about gluten free choices. Everyone at my table loved the food and drinks they ordered.

Came here for dinner last night for my best friends bachelorette. I’ve been in the service industry for a 8 years so I can empathize with servers if they are having a bad day. I am not sure if that was the case or if we were given bad service because they knew they were getting an automatic 18% tip regardless. We were not given any introduction or recommendations and when I asked about which dishes had gluten in it (I have celiac) the server did not know anything else but the gf pizza which is always a cross contamination risk since it’s cooked in the same oven as regular pizza. The seafood platter was okay but not worth the price point. The steak was not good either. the only redeeming dish was the coconut tofu which was very good but the service is really what put the worst taste in our mouths after we got our food my friends steak was missing for a while and when she got it they didn’t have a steak knife to give her so ( the chef did come to talk to us about the delay which we appreciated but our server was no where to be found ) when we were ready for another drink he didn’t acknowledge my friends celebration at all (which I put on the reservation likely a miscommunication from the hosts) and when we were finally over it and ready to leave it took forever to get the check and the server didn’t say anything to us. What should’ve been a great kick off of our night celebrating our friend just bummed us all out.
