The Highlands Reserve

Love The Highlands! I’m so glad they were able to have their new location as we used to go to their locations on Memorial Hwy and then in Chimney Rock. The food is great quality and so delicious. I know they’re just getting started in the new location but I do believe they need a bit better lighting (warmer, dimmer bulbs, perhaps some wall sconces) and maybe some art on the walls (highland cows anyone or lake themed art?) but otherwise it’s a great meal at a good price if your looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The servers and staff are also very nice people! They have gluten free options like gluten free burger buns.

This place is really delicious and great atmosphere! The food was amazing. We had a bison burger and the ribbed fries. My mom was thankful that they had a great gluten free menu. My girlfriend loved the mango lemonade. Highly recommend!

My mother and I ate here for the first time. We were very surprised at how nice the outdoor seating area was. The inside wasn't anything special, but outside was beautiful! I was surprised to see that they had a special menu that catered to those that eat gluten-free. It was very helpful, and there were many options to choose from. I also avoid dairy as much as I can, so I was able to get a gluten-free burger with no cheese. Our food and drinks came very quickly, and our waitress was very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and the burger was cooked perfectly. I cannot wait to visit again next time I'm in the area!
