The Hop 50's Drive In

Cute little car hop place where people are friendly and the food is great! The sweetest girl came out to greet me and when I told her I have an allergy to gluten and asked if they had gluten free buns as I saw it on their website, she said "Yes, and we have a separate fryer for your fries too, that I'll make sure is used" The burger was delicious, the bun was better than I expected it to be (being my first GF bun, I wasn't sure if it'd be edible), as it did have flavor and it held together nicely. The only thing that would've made it better is if the bun was warmed. Great experience all the way around! I'm not from around here, and if I come back this way I'll definitely stop back in! I definitely recommend!

Awesome place! We aren't from the state so we had no idea what was gluten free or celiac safe. The food was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They were really clear about best options for allergies, best place we ate the entire trip. Full COVID precautions practiced, our kids loved the car boxes their food arrived in. I would make this a stop for sure !!
