The Inn Gluten Free Bakery & Cafe

We had a great experience. We placed an order from out of state. A 50th anniversary cake. Ruth and her staff were excellent to work with. The cake wasn't ready when we came to pick it up and she delivered it to us at no charge. The gf df red velvet cake was amazing. The non gf crowd didn't even know. We were impressed and would use The Inn Gluten Free Bakery again when in Alabama.

So both of my parents have passed away in the last 2 years at 55 years old. Its been extremely hard on me especially since my Dads birthday is 5 days before mine. Every single year for his birthday growing up he would want this specific pistachio cake. It’s not your normal cake, it’s made with pistachio pudding and whip cream for the frosting (I know sounds crazy but it’s freaking amazing). The owner knew how special this cake was to me and replicated the gluten free version of it but instead using REAL WHIP CREAM! It instantly reminded me of my dad and filled me with so much happiness ❤️. I truly cannot thank you enough for doing this. It was so moist and that frosting 😮‍💨🙌🏼 seriously RUN do not walk to try this cake. It was late so I didn’t get the best pictures but seriously this cake is EVERYTHING we devoured it! Even my husband who’s not celiac loved it! We even shared a few slices with our neighbors who also are not celiac but the text message speaks for itself, it truly was that freaking amazing. If you haven’t visited them yet please do, the hospitality is the best around the owner truly makes you feel as if you’re family. And when you leave there I promise you end up leaving with a bag full of desserts 😂!
