We love the Keg and were looking forward to trying a new location. Usually they are super allergy aware — they have often sent a cook out to reassure us. The service was very mediocre— none of the usual introduction by name, punched in the wrong salad, we had to wave servers over for drinks, interrupt their conversation to get the bill etc.
Worst part was that the salmon dish, which is gluten free and which we get often, had chunks of .. idk.. bread crust in it? Any celiac reading this knows what that would do to them.
They replaced the meal and both(?) mangers interrupted us to apologize (and say they had “no idea how that got there” not very reassuring guys!) Not so much as a comped drink.
Seems to be a real issue with seat numbers — servers trying to give us other people’s food, or just walking around with plates looking confused. Manager asked the people beside us if they were “the salmon” when circling by for one of the apologies.
Annnnnyway. The prime rib was stringy and watery which wouldn’t have mattered if the rest wasn’t such an expensive and unfun flop.
