Cute restaurant with a fantastic patio/bar for outdoor dining, also dog friendly. Went for breakfast and was not overly impressed with the menu options, but chose a mushroom omelet with gouda grits. The omelet was ok, nothing special, but the grits were AMAZING! My dining partner had the shrimp and grits. It was a large portion, with a tomato type base, not your typical flavor. They also automatically add 20% to every bill because the wait staff only "gets paid a dollar an hour." I don't especially like this practice, and I don't appreciate being lied to (server hourly pay is definitely not a regular wage, but I believe it's around 7 or 8 dollars an hour now), but I guess the tourists who visit this area are known to not tip. They do not have gluten free pancakes, waffles or bread if you are gluten free.
