The Mad Batter Restaurant & Bar

It was very loud and it’s a pretty tight restaurant. I have a severe allergy to gluten and I explained this to my waitress, as I needed accommodations for my meal and their allergy-friendly menu was the entire reason I went. My waitress, Edna, was very kind and understanding, but when I got my meal (the burger), it came with fried onions which were not gluten free, and it also had a hair. I was quickly given a new meal and it was delicious, but my initial impression does not make me want to return.

Absolutely love this place! Super accommodating to by gluten allergy, server even brought me a gluten free roll out asking. Everyone is always so welcoming and food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Been wanting to eat here for a while now, finally we made a reservation and went for an early dinner, it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. The gluten free and vegan options were outstanding! I have a few dietary restrictions, (onion allergy, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant and I don't eat meat) I ordered the harvest salad which was absolutely amazing and the vegan nachos (obviously without green onions and no Pico de Gallo) they were gluten free and vegan also so very delicious. My fiance ordered the pizza and the grilled cheese, which were both amazing as well. The staff was really friendly, and Kyle and Joanna are lovely. I think this is going to be a go to when I'm in Cape May. I can't wait to try the breakfast!!! I may add that the atmosphere was really cool I loved the decor and the whole vibe!
