The Mad Hatter Winery & Smoke House

I recently visited the Mad Hatter Winery & Smokehouse in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. This neat little restaurant and bar is nestled in the charming town of Jim Thorpe, offering a perfect blend of hospitality and quality. The staff at Mad Hatter Winery were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our visit even more enjoyable. We tried their "adult slushies," which were the perfect refreshment after a hot day exploring the town. The flavors were fantastic, and they truly hit the spot! In addition to their refreshing drinks, Mad Hatter Winery & Smokehouse is known for its delicious smoked meats, fresh salads, and seafood, all crafted from local ingredients. Their menu includes options for everyone, including gluten-free and vegetarian choices, ensuring a satisfying meal for all guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with outdoor seating available, making it a great spot to unwind. Just when you think being in Jim Thorpe wasn't magical enough, you look for a place to eat and discover "Through the Looking Glass". The atmosphere is s cozy. Grab a window seat that over looks the street to the Opera House across the Street, or sit next the to the warmth of the gas fireplace. You must buy the burger! Enough said. Delicious.... and the homemade salsa was divine. On a rainy Sunday, I brought 4 family members here to eat a mid-day lunch,, 2 of which only eat gluten free food. To their surprise, this establishment offers Gluten Free Rolls!!! They were thrilled and quite please with their meal. Hello to Brie, and to the Fabulous chef/owners, whose love for the food, service, and Jim Thorpe is evident.
