The Napoli’s - Italian Kitchen & Bar

I ordered a gluten free pizza and an order of fries take out. I have a gluten intolerance. When I went in to pick it up I asked if it was gluten free. 1 man said yes, the other said no. They offered to re make it for me. I went back to my car and waited. I went back in to get it and left. The fries were the same ones they cooked the first time and were cold and mushy. The pizza was fine but not worth the money spent or the trouble. I was also the only one in the restaurant at the time. My order for a small gluten free pizza was $26.99 and the ice cold fries $9.99 I also tipped them a couple bucks and there was a support local fee. Totaling $43.95. I contacted them to say something and was offered $5 back. That’s insulting. It’s hard enough eating gluten free with the inconvenience and the prices but then add in that they just didn’t care. I’ll never go back.

A calzone to die for! So much so, i will be stopping here next July on my way to Camden. Hubby has Celiac ,must be GF. His meal was perfect. I had the best mushroom/meatball calzone I had ever had. That coming from a New Haven CT native. Yes it was busy, yes crowded. Worth every minute, the second beer was delightful! The sauce in and on the side of my calzone was unbelievably delicious. Keep up the good work chef and staff. Compliments to the manager trying so hard to accommodate all the guests coming in at prime time with a short wait staff. Looking forward to another CALZONE experience. I live in San Diego now, they have no clue!
