The Oakville Grill & Cellar

oakville has been one of my favorite restaurants in the city for a while so when some friends from out of town came we had to bring them there. we sat upstairs and the service was sooooo slow. we had empty drinks for a while that the server saw multiple times when he was walking by but didn’t seem to care. we had to wait a while in between our apps to our entrees and he hardly check in on us. he was also so rude to me about being gluten free. we ordered the grilled avocado (which i love) and i asked for gluten free bread and he immediately was like “we don’t have that” although i have had it before and refused to give me the bread or gluten free crackers because it wasn’t his preference to have the avocado. we also ordered the burrata and only then he was like “i’ll bring you the crackers for that” but if we hadn’t ordered the burrata he wouldn’t have given me the crackers. soooo confused why he gave me such a hard time about the crackers and bread it was so awkward after that because he seemed annoyed that i even asked

All lettuce Entertain You restaurants have a designated gluten free menu. This is a newer one and was very impressed with the wine list and service
