We had a lovely Sunday lunch with generous portions, tasty veg and well cooked meat.
The staff were helpful with my questions about gluten free options and there were plenty so I didn't miss out!

Do not recommend to anyone with allergies. The menu only had allergies listed for some items. Some letters did not correspond to the allergen. On speaking to staff, items with GF were supposed to be Gluten Free, but the chef could not guarantee it was GF as they did not keep any packaging for the food and couldn't refer to the ingredients. All also cooked on one grill so would be cross contamination.
Lady behind the bar with blue blouse on was as miserable as they come and only said two words during the whole order.
Such a shame as the pub has a lovely setting, great atmosphere and great potential.
