The Parson's Nose

The Parson's Nose is an award winning gastropub in Hillsborough. We visited on a Sunday wanting to try their roast dinner which we had heard is delicious. We started off with the Butternut squash and chilli soup which was vegan and then to replace the wheaten bread they had some gluten-free bread. The soup was delicious and I was happy that they didn't hold back with the chilli, overall amazing starter. For my main I had their Spinach & nut roast, spiced tomato relish, vegetable gravy. The nut roast itself was delicious as were all the components along with it. The gravy was also very tasty! The food here is an easy 5 star, everything is of the utmost quality. The service is also very friendly and welcoming and I loved the cosy warm environment inside. My only issue was that the vegan options weren't very plentiful or easily identifiable. Would love to see more options but loved what I had and will definitely come back soon 😊

Excellent gastro pub restaurant. The service was very good and quick. The food was delicious. The beef and vegetables were perfect. Maybe more vegan and gluten free options would be good.
