If you need gluten free this is not the place. It's an afterthought here. Plenty of other options in Old Port to go to...like Ri Ra where you will be safer eating and you have a ton more options than the sad 2 or 3 offerings at this joint

Great live music, that's the draw here and they had plenty of space for a party of 5 with no reservation. We had the blueberry lemon vodka seltzer and their nachos, which were actually gluten free.

The Porthole was very gluten free friendly. There were options on the menu and staff were very aware of celiac issues.
My wife and I enjoyed eating here. The seafood was very fresh.
