The Region - Handcrafted Hamburgers

Delicious hamburger served in the style of yesteryear. I haven’t had a burger like this in nearly 40 years. Reminds me of Cal’s (R.I.P.) in Worth, IL from my childhood. Burgers are perfectly seasoned and come out piping hot. They have a very fresh and juicy taste because the beef isn’t frozen. If you have dietary restrictions (gluten free, keto, carnivore), you can get your burger with a lettuce wrap or no bun. Fries were delicious. My only complaint is there weren’t more, but then again it was already a full basket haha. I was just loving them with my burger. The owner is friendly and helpful and if you dine-in, he’ll bring your food to your table. Definitely worth throwing a few bucks his way for the top notch service you won’t get at any fast food joint. Seating is very limited, but it looks like they have seating outside during the non-winter months. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a good old fashioned Midwestern hamburger! Wow. These burgers were delicious. Lacy edged smash burgers here. Amazing. Not cheap but worth the price. Good variety of add on options eggs, bacon, variety of peppers. Great fries, great onion rings. If you're looking for a tremendous burger on the North Side? This is one of the best choices you can make! No gluten free buns, but an excellent lettuce wrap. Vegans? You're outta luck on anything except the French fries. Vegetarians there is a grilled cheese option, but I mean come on, it's burgers and dogs people.
