We had the seafood platter for 2 , my partner is a coeliac so they did not batter the squid and he had gluten free bread and crackers.
1 surf and turf , 1 mussels both really generous and the sauce for the mussels gorgeous , you have to try it .
I had a amazing Guinness cake with rum raisin ice cream and he had Bakewell brûlée dessert with gluten free shortbread.
Here is why I think this place is excellent :
Flavour on each dish fresh and cooked perfectly
Service is friendly & relaxed
Gluten free option not just removing items with wheat and charging you the same price it is amazing how often this happens elsewhere.
Good portions my other half is not easy to fill !
Enough choice on the menu ( too many choices is a bit of a warning sign in any place) but there is something for everyone.
Food cooked in the restaurant , you can see it’s cooked fresh and the hygiene is on point as well as fun to watch .
I will definitely return , you can book online save me a seat though !
