The Ship Inn - Regional Winner Best Hotel Experience 2024 Visit Scotland

Had never visited this part of Scotland before and with this hidden gem we're likely to be back. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. We arrived on Easter bank holiday Monday and the restaurant was very busy, always agood sign. Relaxing in glorious sunshine, we had drinks in the beer garden opposite the hotel beside the river. So peaceful. Room was superb. Lots of space and facilities for our overnight. The town provides a historic setting and it's surrounded by lovely walks. Our meal? Great selection especially for those who need special gluten free options. Delicious and breakfast was great too. Prices very reasonable too. As Arnie would say - I'll be back!
