It's easy to miss this place from the road. The name is written in big letters on one side of the building but the frontage is dark and unassuming. Once you go down some stairs however, it's a warm, light and inviting place.
Three of us arrived and were efficiently scanned and shown to our table. The menu ranges from small delicious anti pasto through pizza, pasta and desserts. Honestly, I was torn because I would have been happy with anything on their menu.
The service was attentive without being intrusive and we all agreed that the food was fabulous. This is about quality not quantity so don't expect a bucket of spag bol. And for any coeliacs, most things can be made gluten free, wow.
I highly recommend The Surfers Mistress and can't wait to go back.
