The 490 Bakery is great! We originally discovered them at the Farmers Market—they stood out to us from other baked goods spots because we noticed they had gluten free cookies! Having a gluten allergy, I really appreciate that!
The gluten free cookies I’ve tried taste amazing, and I’ve never had a reaction from them. My spouse says their “normal”/gluten containing cookies are good as well. 😄

The cookies are amazing. I appreciate the mission behind their business which is to support those coming out of incarceration. The gluten free selection of cookies is extensive. After years at the Muskegon Farmers market they are happy to have a storefront. They are collaborating with the Gooleyguk Cafe which serves a locally roasted Honduran coffee as well as delicious whole food fruit smoothies. A Lakeside gem!
