The Alantara Sanur

We had a wonderful honeymoon in Bali. After the staff at our first hotel in Ubud were almost obsequious (a bit too much for us), the staff at the Alantara was simply fantastic. Everyone always had a smile on their face, from reception to the restaurant; everyone was very warm and helpful. Agus, in particular, was like a good friend to us, who always took care of everything and wanted to make our honeymoon as special as possible. Ita in the restaurant was also great. My husband has a gluten intolerance, and this was always taken care of; he was given extra bread and even a lovingly prepared avocado sandwich. The location is beautifully quiet; we walked about 15 minutes to the beach and rented two loungers for €6. There was also a wonderful yoga studio on the beach 15 minutes away (The New Oasis), which Agus also found for us :-) Many people, especially those with children, simply stayed in the beautiful pool area. Everything is very clean, the food in the restaurant is more expensive than in the center, but it's also very good, and the staff is definitely worth it. We're thrilled.
