WARNING TO VEGANS: some of the "vegan" options are not all actually vegan, they are vegetarian. Double check with the kitchen about the ingredients before placing your order! First of all, let me say that I really like this place! The service is great, the food is delicious, they are very accommodating of dietary restrictions, etc. The reason for my review though is because of the relatively new "vegan options" submenu. As a person with an egg allergy, I was super excited to try the so-called "vegan crepe". I was just about to ready to order it but then decided to check their other options in the "vegan" menu and saw ingredients like butter and cheese listed, so I double checked with the server if those ingredients are vegan butter/cheese and the server said not by default, but they have a vegan cheese option. This was weird since the whole dish was listed as vegan! So then I thought to double check about the crepe and it turns out it DOES have eggs! (They have a gluten free and dairy free crepe option, but eggs, by definition are NOT vegan.) The night could have gone very badly for me if I had not thought to double check! Mislabeling food can be very dangerous so I really strongly urge the restaurant to revise the labelling to the correct term "vegetarian" (or learn a vegan crepe recipe, which does exist! Crepe de Luxe is a restaurant that offers vegan crepe for example). I wouldn't expect mislabeled food at a reputable establishment, so it's really lucky that I even had the thought to double check :( Or else my Valentine's date would have been ruined, and I decided to write this review as a warning to any others who are looking to order from the vegan menu but have allergies/restrictions! Again, no hate at all toward the restaurant because it is a lovely place! But I just could not stop thinking about the mislabeled menu since I could have very well accidentally ordered/eaten eggs that day and triggered my allergies because of this. :( Edit: Thank you for your response! I've added a star :)
